Amongst Stockhausen’s vast catalogue of groundbreaking music, very few works have had the enduring impact of his 1958-60 masterpiece, Kontakte. Roger Admiral and Bill Linwood join forces in the composer’s second version of the work, in which prerecorded sounds combine with piano and percussion. With textures morphing like the colours of a kaleidoscope, Kontakteis startling in its immediacy and a treat to experience live.
